my first blog

Hello, this is my first time writing a blog. So, today I would like to write about my experiences going for a School Based Experience. My name is Nur Farrah Hanim binti Zakaria. Now I am studying at Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Pendidikan Teknik, Negeri Sembilan. I have entered this campus in 2020 right after I graduated from my high school and my major course is TESL. At first I was so nervous and worried that I might not be able to adapt with new environment, friends and teachers but now I think I am slowly getting used to it. So, this is my third semester for this year and we are required to do a School Based Experience (SBE) where we need to choose a primary school and go there to observe and do a report about the school by interviewing the teachers, staff and students. I have chosen a school that that is near my house in Kelantan which is Sekolah Kebangsaan Chabang Empat. So, it would be easy for me to go there. 

actually i was so nervous for my first day but luckily i met my friends there who came to do the SBE at the same school as me. we talked a lot about our life and progression in IPG since we haven't met for 2 years already. on our first day, we did not get to do a lot of things except for taking a look around the school, interviewing the principle, and helping out the teachers for their upcoming lesson. on my second day, i felt less nervous as i have getting used to the environmental of the school and got to know a lot of teachers there. that day, me and my friends were assigned to take over 3 classes which are year 3, year 5 and year 2. i was quite nervous but then i saw my friends handled it very well, and it encouraged me to do the same and brace myself to speak in front of the pupils. i got new experiences while taking over the class and it was a very enjoyable one as i got to know the children and so on. the remaining 3 days went well. i have gotten used to take over the class and do some activities with the pupils. i also got to finished my report about the school. that was a really enjoyable and unforgettable experience for me.
